I had this curriculum in 1971 when I was in 5th grade and to this day it was one of the best educational experiences with it’s balance of creative activities and analyses. Using the same format to study different life forms provided a framework to discover and draw conclusions about other man made and natural subjects. I still remember creating a big savanah with a tribe of baboons, predators and food/water source. I wish my children had such well thought out curriculum now.
